El Cine y la Arquitectura, fotogramas y espacios. “Escuela de Artes Visuales”/ “Strijp S – The Artifact”

Abstract

Se trata de un proyecto institucional de temática educativa “Escuela de Artes Visuales”. El edificio

o conjunto edificado (según se opte por una composición única o desagregada) se ubicará en el terreno

afectado actualmente a estacionamiento del Centro Municipal de Exposiciones (ver mapa adjunto – Anexo

Pg.1). El programa (ver detalle – Anexo Pg.2) está inspirado en la propuesta de una escuela de nivel

universitario consagrada al estudio de algunas artes visuales específicas. La intención del programa

parte la necesidad de completar este vacío urbano perteneciente al corredor cultural (sobre Av. Figueroa

Alcorta y Av. Libertador) que se inicia a la altura de la calle Salguero, con el MALBA, al norte y finaliza

con el MARQ, al sur. Este corredor podría ampliarse hasta Retiro, incluyendo el Museo Ferroviario, una

vez concretada la puesta en valor de esta área de la ciudad según el plan maestro existente.

En cuanto a la Escuela, sus actividades están orientadas a la propuesta de soluciones específicas,

aunque flexibles, para áreas de aprendizaje no convencionales.
