dc.description.abstractThis dissertation examines emotional self-disclosure as a discursive resource in user-generated textual feedback on YouTube. While previous research on online emotions has often focused on sentiment analysis or psychological outcomes, less attention has been paid to how emotions are linguistically constructed and strategically deployed in specific digital genres.
