The urban and architectural heritage of the Modern Movement in Buenos Aires is key to the richness that the 20th century contributes to our culture. Far from being a mere break with the past, the modern project found, in operating within the inherited city, both a foundation for recovering solutions already present in the definition of its urban landscape and the consolidation of its fabric, as well as an opportunity to experiment with innovative criteria. This Working Document presents an introductory framework on the topic, a catalogue of representative works classified according to four conceptual axes —the lot, the corner, the block, and the conception of a new urban fabric— and a bibliography. These materials serve as a key foundation for revaluing the modern legacy and carrying out sustainable rehabilitation projects.es_ES
